The Leica M8 rangfinder camera has a cropped field of view compared to all other Leica M’s and other small film cameras due to the smaller sensor (crop factor 1.3333). This influences also the angle of view for the lenses used with Leica M8. A overview and a comparison table for different focal lengthes is given.
